Now that being said, the parts manual for a particular machine usually
has an index in the back to all the parts used on that machine.  And
if the part is at all peculiar you could guess something from the part
number itself, since part numbers were assigned more or less 
consecutively.  I don't have any manuals in front of me right now, but
if you looked at a parts book for Model 14 you might find your part
falling in the range of numbers used on that machine.  Or a Model 15.
Or a stock ticker.
