There is a similar software program that also works on the Mac and Linux, called The Jack Audio Connection Kit

It is available for Linux, OS-X, and Windows, and is free.
But a simple way to do this is get or make an audio cable that has male connectors on each end - plug one into the audio input and the other into the earphones jack. The audio input jack is not a mike level thing - it will accept earphone level signals as I understand it.
The earphones jack is stereo, but I am not sure if the mike jack is or not. You may have to experiment with that a bit.
