[GreenKeys] RTTY (over the air) to KSR33

The AEA PK232 will convert incoming Baudot to 110 baud ASCII (and higher
speeds). I used

to run a Model 33 with it and copied Ham RTTY. The PK232 has been

around a long time.any version of it will work. The 33 needs to have a RS232
interface.

Subject: [GreenKeys] RTTY (over the air) to KSR33

Please forgive me if this has already been answered, but I did a google
search and couldn't find anything definitive. I'd like to have my ASR33
print RTTY data from a true, over the air broadcast. I know I need a
communications (SW or HF) receiver, and FSK decoder and some way to
interface the 45 baud, baudot code to the current loop, ASCII code of the
ASR33 (or at least RS-232 and use my existing RS-232 to 20ma converter).
What I don't know is if there is already some device out there that does the
FSK to ASR33 interface or maybe just the 45 baudot to 300 baud ASCII
conversion and use an off the shelf FSK decoder. Anything like this exist?

If not, I was thinking of building a unit that possibly used the NJM2211 FSK
decoder, and embedded processor (probably an ARM processor since that what I
already design with) and some relatively simple code/baud rate conversion
firmware. I'm not necessarily interested in transmitting RTTY (don't have
an amateur radio license.yet!) at this time, but might in the future. Right
now, I think it would just be cool to get actual RTTY off the airwaves and
print it out on my teletype.

I am aware of ITTY, and may play with that a bit, but am more interested in
getting the data over the air if possible.

Thanks in advance for any thoughts you guys might have.

PJ
