Back in the day I would call the customer to make sure we were changing the correct type wheel and key top.

In 1966-70 most of the changes we made were for the "Computer O" where the slash went through the LETTER "O"
About 15 percent were the "Military Zero"  

Of course after Western Union took over the dial TWX most of the "Dataphone Teletypes" were for official Bell use and anything and everything was custom.
Also had M33s in use for junk yards and radio stations that were of this type over the regular dial network or the multipoint "hoot and holler" services.
Most of them used the standard as manufactured keyboards and type wheels.
