You need 181417 speed gear and 181411 motor gear for 60 WPM or 45.5 baud.  Your 32 will have a 181411 on it now, but its likely plastic and the new 181411 are metal.  
  
You should replace both.  Stand the motor on its plastic fan in the printer to remove and replace the gears.  Watch out for the little nylon washer on the speed gear.  The gears should have just a little backlash if adjusted correctly.  Grease the gears and speed gear shaft.  Belt tension should have a little give or flex when you re-install the motor.  Not too tight or too loose.  Motor centered left and right in its mounts (usually). 
  
I only have one speed gear left and I think I have a need for it for Dave Tumey.  
  
Steve Ripper has some I think if he can get into his hanger at the airport.  I guess ice is blocking the door steveripper at gmail.com (sorry Steve). 
  
If you can get the speed gear only, I can send you the motor one, no charge.

The paper tape wll read the same on any speed machine.  The only problem you may see is that some printers will have differant  symbles on them.  One common thing is that some machines have the bell over the J and somehave it over the S.  Also some may have fractions or weather symbles in the shifted state.  This would be the same 'problem' if the machine that punched the tape was sending  out from the keyboard.  The holes in the tape would be punched the same, but it would depend on the machine reading the tape.

Are there gears  available to convert a Teletype Model 32ASR 50 Baud TELEX machine to 45.45 Baud?  I would like to set this machine up for autostart ITTY.  Also, am I correct that tape punched on this unit  can be read on any speed machine? (stupid question!)
