A friend of mine dragged me down to JJ Glass in downtown LA and we
both bought 4 of them at $5 each.
After we got everything working, we'd camp out on 2 meter AM and
send Don Martin cartoons back and forth.
Great fun, until we ran out of the special paper required.
Admittedly, it took almost a year to do that.
