Some genius has a piece of Western Electric equipment listed as

a 6V6 stereo amplifier  #252003249647. It’s actually the

discriminator/trigger amplifier from the AN/FCG-1 RTTY

Converter from the 1950’s. It has the 850 shift filters

and looks unused.

 

When I told him what it was, he said he’d have a “tech”

modify it into a stereo. And, by the way, he’s asking

$4,500 for it.
