[GreenKeys] Homemade penetrating oil

Having read many times in the past about a 50/50 mix of acetone and ATF 
being the best penetrating oil to free rusted/stuck parts, I thought I'd try 
it myself.
I don't have any ATF handy, but it's just a refined 20W oil with a different 
additive package... anyway I mixed a few cc's of pure acetone with the same 
amount of 10W-40 part-synthetic motor oil. It appeared to mix fully when 
shaken, but half an hour later there were two distinct layers of fluid in 
the bottle. I'm trying it out on a couple of rusted bolts (shake, apply a 
few drops, tap with hammer, repeat over several days). I am quite surprised 
(as was a previous poster) that they didn't mix and stay mixed.
