Hi Les,

I am wondering about "shelf life"
I have two tubes of KS 7471 Grease, and
possibly two cans of KS 7470 Oil.

Both date back to late 60s and early 70s. I might be able to make up some
tins of the grease in cleaned out shoe polish tins.

Perhaps I could put the oil into bottles to share. BUT, will the lubricants
still be good?

Just thinkin'

I am sure this subject has been discussed to death, but I do not appear to

What is a modern (Synthetic) replacement for the standard Teletype oil
KS-7470 (PN 88970/88971)?
