Agreed!  It leaves a damned oily residue; a better product is CRC-232 (I 
think that's the name).

WD-40 is OK for spraying into carburettors etc when trying to crank her 
over, but there's no way I'd use it on a circuit board.

I hereby declare a pox upon anyone who lets WD-40 anywhere near 
electronics.
