A note on the Tempest Dovetrons:  They do not contain a loop supply, BUT, the transformer has the winding needed and the PC board has all the traces and places for the parts needed.  All you need to do (hah!) is solder in the rectifier(s), capacitors and such, and then add the variable series resistor on the rear panel, and the thing is good to go.

(No, I won’t be bidding on the thing.)
