[GreenKeys] Kleinschmidt Model 125 Code Converter - any info?

Nick,

Looks like a "TT-174" (see p12 of the KLI Military catalog on your TTY 
manuals page), except that the TT-174 description is a parallel to 
serial converter.  It was used in the AN/FGC-30 automated switching center.

The unit in your pictures has a selector mechanism, so it can receive 
serial data. Maybe it is a serial to parallel converter??
