Very interesting, thanks for the link. There is a brief article on
Dufay Color on Wikepedia http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Dufaycolor
Processes like this could reproduce quite good color but were
difficult for commercial motion pictures because duplicating them was a
problem. There were many early color processes but the only one
successful for theatrical motion pictures until the perfection of
multi-layer film was Technicolor.
