Mention was made recently about the Model 12, and the AWA Museum just
received one. I just got it cleaned up and into the Museum yesterday,
so I thought I would let everyone see it!

Gil's page http://baudot.net/teletype/M12.htm say that there were only
two known in existence (Don & Doug) at that time. Have any more M12s
shown up??

With this complete M12 KSR, we also got another printer and 4-5 keyboards.

The M12 had a new power cord, so I plugged it in and both motors ran & I
could operate the keyboard! But there is new wiring and a new terminal
strip on the side that I will need to trace out before I can put it in a
loop. I think I have most of the manuals (or at least copies), so
should be able to figure it out.

I also have a copy of Bull. #143, the M12 Reperforator! I'd never heard
of that. Looks sort of like a GPE with the M12 selectors & motor attached!

Have fun,
