well I like  the idea of tablet control  I could build on into  the front  
of the museum display and have the screen present    some message canned 
options

No problems have been  experienced with the higher current / lower voltage; 
Better engineers could  finesse the current limit resistor value and 
determine a lower current which  still functions. But the selector magnets on the 
'15 look beefy enough to  tolerate 10x the amount of current we are talking

Note also, I've added a  support for a USB-connected PC keyboard which 
allows the laypeople to type on  it, which generates *tons* of interest at 
hamfests/makerfaires. The tablet  interface is OK if you want to save paper.
