[GreenKeys] Mystery solved

Greenkeyers and Dave, 
  
Mystery is solved.  The part goes in the bottom of the carriage housing where the typewheel rotating mechanism is.  It is missing on the 614 printer, Dave.  How it broke and managed to get out of the casting is yet another mystery.  
  
Dave, you were right to keep looking.  I hate to be wrong!  LOL.  The other mystery is why the carriage works perfectly now.  This little part is not very heavy duty.  Perhaps its just used to load the rotating assembly into the housing? 
  
It looks like almost the first part to go in to the carriage.  I tore a junker carriage apart to locate the part.  I am not sure I could take a working carriage apart to replace it and get it back together.
