[GreenKeys] M28 reperf print hammer head installation?

I've obtained some vinyl tubing to experiment with as a replacement for the
Disintegrating Delrin hammer head.
But how do you get the head onto the hammer lever buried down there in the
innards??
Is there some technique besides removing the whole side plate?....I sure
hope so.

There is a lot of folkware to maintaining these gadgets - many thanks to
you experienced guys for sharing your hard-won knowledge.
