Virgil,
Your message did get to me vial the list server.

NOTE:  gmail takes the liberty of NOT sending you the list-sent copy of a message you posted to a (or some) list servers. This happens to me with my gmail account.  I get replies to my posts without ever seeing my post appear on the list. 

Some time ago we looked into this and someone found a place buried in the official “user agreement” or some such at Google that told of their policy on this.  You cannot change the Google behavior on this.  It is not the list server, it is your mail “service”.

(I’m testing this by sending it to both you and the list and watching to see if I get a copy via the list.)
