Andy,

I only  saw one and that was at the Signal Corps TTY school (Ft. Gordon) 
in late 1966. They were not teaching it yet but had one and showed it to 
us TTY repairmen.  I think they must have just received it, as I didn't 
see it working. The FGC-80 is listed in the 1970 KLI Military Catalog.

ED, the head of SMECC, and Dave, who wrote the article about the FGC-80, 
are both active here on Greenkeys.
