Don,
Yes, that is an interesting site. I was an electronic design engineer
at Harris Corp., Mobile Telephone Division (aka RF Communications) for
many years and worked on various MTS, IMTS & cellular mobile phones.
I'm looking for a handset for the AWA Museum's 1947 WE mobile phone. Two
big boxes that sat in your trunk and only a single channel. RX has a
vibrator supply, TX has a big dynamotor.
There doesn't seem to be many of the old MT control heads around (not
useful for hams, I guess). I've been looking for some Secode heads. If I
find any extras, I'll let you know.
Have fun,
Duncan
