Well today, after I finished a couple of other things, was "Play with the
Lo-15b day."
I found the original documentation on the power/signal panel that
Heinz sent me 7 years ago. I had to make up the connector from the
panel to the FSG. Plugged everything in and put the loop supply on.
Sure enough, loop polarity one way, no motor. Reverse polarity and
the motor spins right up.
Playing with the buttons, I think AT mean "tell the CO I want to talk."
I figured out LT mean "local" and ST means "We're done here."
Interestingly, the FSG won't let you play with the telephone dial unless
it's in the correct mode.
Make sense really, just like having your mother pick up the phone in
the middle of downloading something. "Don't do that!"
So yes, we're one step closer to getting things to play TW39 with.
