Brings back memories.
When I was 16 and had been given a Model 15, a CV-89A/URA-8A was included
as a challenge. The challenge was the it was red tagged from failing due to
the fan had seized and it had kept running until it failed. Most of the
wire insulation had became so brittle it was falling off.
Over the winter, I completely stripped each module down to the sockets,
checked the resistors, caps, etc and wired them back up.
Was a major learning experience.
