Keith,
If you have a TU feeding the TTY machine then what you propose would
work if I'm reading it right.
Something like MMTTY uses the sound card for in/out, it's all audio and
the TU will handle the hv loop,
as long as the TU has AFSK out you should be set. Different baud rates
are easy to set up in most digi
mode programs so not dependent on RS-232.
