I would almost  like to access the orig  slides
I suspect  even  clearer images  could be pulled on  with today's slide 
scanners
 
yea   that  can be  done in a video editor  do  it all the time  when I 
want   to drop  still  images into news  video I am cutting.
 
you can even  "ken burns'  the images and pan around and zoom  on specific  
part you are talking about.
 
may  even  want to expound on it  some  and  re-voice-over it
