[GreenKeys] Opinions about Operating Systems

Hmmm...  Here we use use the Microsoft  Windows  as  Sony Vegas we use for 
cutting News footage requires that.
Windows  and  our    applications  for   video have worked   for  years and 
 every once in  a while we are lucky enough to win a News Telly or Emmy (R) 
 award!
 
For the most  part -  Choice of  OS  dependent on  what application 
software you want to run  and in some  cases  what  operating system you grew up 
with and were  comfortable  with. In days of  old, starting back in the late 
70's  Apple was hell bent on  getting as  deep as they could into the  
educational market.. not  just  for the volume  sales....  but   the  development  
 of a future generation  of  kinds into  Apple  users.

I'm a FreeBSD bigot myself,  although I do use Mac and Linux as well; QTH 
has always been  MS-free.
