I have a 33KSR as well -- not too many around, as everyone wants the tape unit. Your KSR has a rotary dial -- does that mean it is a telex interface? I seem to recall that. I have a 33ASR that has a touch-tone pad, and it is a twx system. The giant interface boxes are a pain -- if you unit is not a current-loop CCU, it is easier to just tap into the unit at the magnet driver board I would say.

I’m not sure what I have. I personally used it on an Imsai but Dad interfaced it. I didn’t know much about electronics and S-100 back then. I’ve updated my teletype wiki page with three additional detail pictures one of which is where the DB25 cable was hooked into a Teletype cable on pins 1,2 and 7,8.
