I would think that the plastic containers that strawberries, blueberries 
etc come in at the grocery store would work well also. Plus they have 
drain or ventilation holes spaced around the bottom of the box.

I line them with a paper towel and tape the edges then use it for 
storage of small parts that i come up with and don't know where to put 
them. Stores coax connectors, small tubes etc.

Besides that you get great benefits from eating the contents before 
converting them to parts bins.  Various sizes available as well.
