It must be possible, because those machines were used as consoles for
minicomputers, and there they punched binary tapes containing program
code. However it may be that you need a particular version of the M33.
I would imagine that one designed for TWX or other service where the
online punch on/off and reader on/off codes are used would not be
suitable. You'd need to disable those functions if you have a machine
with them installed.
