I'm also extremely thankful for the services of the internet but it's not the answer to everything and comfortable & relaxing reading is one of those. And who'd want to drag their laptop into the "little reading room", eh? :-)

Wayne - - yea I am just more relaxed in my arm chair either at home or in the museum office.... but I do love searching electronically! Then I pull the volumes found and armchair it.

The downside of 40 separate bound journals series is the amount of space they take up and if you are not physically with them they are not accessible so also thankful for the electronic copies....

Ain't that the everloving truth!! And I like the smell of the old paper and when you encounter the little notes that someone made in the margins.

Electronics magazine - Special Commemerative Issue April 17 1980 with OCR

Electronics Mag. was one of the greats. the 50th annv. issue has some of the history of how it came to be.

Although there are online issues of this mag. we love having the bound physical copies here at the SMECC museum as when we need a photo or an ad to go in a display we can photo it .... and shucks.... it is just fun to browse a bound issue of these sitting in a big arm chair vs. staring into a computer screen!

Enjoy this pdf we found online. The ads are great too! the test is all ocr so it searches well in the PDF reader too.
