Much much nicer to reply only to the poster unless you decide it is worth

But you do agree, that technical Q&A type exchanges are almost always
worth the group's time? I mean to say, the sole purpose of this list - and the
Internet et al - is the free exchange of information.
I can't tell you how many new things I've learned, or even how many new
lines of interest I have taken, by randomly lurking a thread here and there,
sometimes chiming in with a clarifying question or two when some important
(to me) blanks need be filled.
