[GreenKeys] Hello world - New member - Lookin' for a 33 in MN

Howdy folks, first post. I was directed to this list by a fellow member on
the classicmp / cctalk list..

I just completed restoring / rebuilding an Altair 8800, and thought it
would be interesting to actually try doing something with it, other than
just staring at all the blinking LEDs. The machine is back to near 100%
original as-built condition, running the stock 8080A CPU board and a 16K
SRAM board - the original MITS 1K / 4K board was missing from the pile when
I received it.

In any case, I'd like to hook up a Teletype 33 (ASR) for use as a
terminal.. which means I'd first need to acquire a 33 ASR..

Anyone in the Twin Cities (MN) area have a spare they'd care to part with?
Doesn't matter if it needs some 'TLC' or other service & repair work - in
fact, I'd almost welcome it, as it would provide a good opportunity for
learning a thing or two about the machines. A fellow cctalk member kindly
provided me with a decent trove of documentation on the 33s, so I think
that end is covered for now.

In any case, good to meet all of you - and please drop me a line if you
have any thoughts on where to find a 33 to victimize. ;-)
