Greetings,

Finally, we finished the first batch of reproduction 181812 Nameplates for
the Model 33. I have included three photos (I hope that is OK) in the
email showing the nameplate on the machine, the front & back of the
reproduction (top) and original part (bottom).

It took three tries with the metal fabricator to get this exactly right.
The construction is identical, the silk screen beautiful, and the fit
perfect. They were precision laser cut and are made of 5052-H32 aluminum.

The front of the part has been machine brushed to look as close as
possible to the original. We impressed a slight inward arc on the part so that
when the middle clip engages the cover, the ends fit tightly against the
cover front - actually the fit is a little better than the original because of
this.

To install, you simply compress the center "clip" with the thumb and
finger until it snugly engages the mating cover feature.

I had to build a batch of 50 pcs for $2,400 so if you are interested in
acquiring one for your machine, feel free to send Danielle an email at
retroparts at yahoo.com and she we will send one off. $49 each shipped to your US
address. I have a lifetime supply! The plan is to ship them in cardboard
tubes - I still need to locate the best tube to use, so it might be a week
or so before an order is ready to send.

Thanks.
