The ROM BIOS I wrote for the 8080 included Baudot-Ascii conversion both ways. For binary dumps, I used the old Intel hex dump format. For Basic programs, it was just text anyway...
Still have the computer, documentation, etc. I did for it at the time. One of these days, I’ll make it come alive again !

John, arent’ these 5-level machines? I am very curious how you used these for an 8080 project, I would have expected 8-level machines. I have an IMSAI 8080. thanks

Subject: [GreenKeys] Kleinschmidt TT-119 Schematic Wanted
Anyone have a schematic diagram for the Kleinschmidt TT-119 ( or TT-117 ) ? I converted my TT-117 in 1978 to TTL interface for use with my 8080 ( yep, and used a TT-76 for tape to punch and reload programs ! ) and now need to convert it back to original condition. Still have all the parts in a baggie, but no longer have a drawing... I’ve already looked for one in the usual places, no luck so far.
Any help much appreciated.
Thanks

BTW – we’ve re-established the West Coast Military Radio Collector’s “Clatternet” on Sunday evenings, currently 5:30 PM PST on 7088.575 mhz. We’ve been having a great time using mechanical machines on the air – anyone can join in, mechanical or not. http://www.mrcgwest.org for more info.
