A long time ago, on a packet radio BBS far away (remember them?), I posted 
a message which was a spoof of Lovecraft's "The Raven".  It had some great 
lines in it such as "and the mainshaft's driven member lay in pieces on 
the floor, RTTY Contest was tomorrow, vainly had I sought to borrow", 
"like a little kitten purring, running RYs by the score", "quoth the RTTY, 
464", "in a bid to break its fetters I've worn out the key marked LTRS" 
etc.  Beautiful.

Anyone happen to have it squirreled away?  Grepping the net reveals 
nothing, but I saw it on Usenet, donkeys' years ago.
