Great job!
It's interesting to see how "full" the UCC-6 is with the reader supply and (I assume) the DEC-style paper tape control installed. My reader supply is in the base and I don't have the paper tape control, so I've got all sorts of room in the front of the UCC. Your "full" UCC-6 presents me with a bit of a problem in the design of something I'm working on.
I'm working on an "authentic" looking current-loop to RS-232 adapter that will mount in the front of the UCC-6 and connect to the P2 Molex connector on the rear of the UCC. From the P2 connector, the adapter has access to the transmit and receive loop signals as well as 48VAC from which the board can obtain power. The only wiring that has to be done is to connect RS-232 signals (Tx,Rx,Gnd) to a three-position terminal block on the board. However, from your pictures, it is clear that not all UCC-6 configurations will have room for an additional board in the front. Also, I never thought about converting the RS-232 signal lines used to control the paper tape reader when the DEC-style control board is installed. Hmmmm...

My adventure in fine metalwork has come to an end (I hope). I've
manufactured a mounting bracket for the paper tape reader power
supply for the Model 33 I am restoring. I found the supply itself
on eBay, broken, and I've now made a bracket. Photos of the result
are here:

Along the way, I had to learn how to extrusion punch sheet metal.
I've never done that before, but here are some detail photos of the
experiments I did before making the bracket:

I think the result is pretty good. I actually made 5 brackets;
I'll send the others to Wayne Durkee as payment for all the teletype
bits and pieces he's sent my way without charge. Of course, there
are more bits and pieces I need (mostly little things).
