Hi:

I worked for some time in the semiconductor industry and can say that if you look at the process sheet for a given
device the smoke is put in a different temperatures for different devices, so for example it takes a higher temperature
to put the smoke into a Silicon transistor and for a Germanium transistor, so it takes less heat to release the smoke
from a Germanium transistor. There's a lot of equipment in a semiconductor fab that's glowing red hot, that's how the
smoke is put into those products.

Where's there's smoke there's fire. The other ingredient needed for fire is oxygen and that causes a lot of problems
for electrical equipment, see for example What Goes Wrong on my Hints And Tips page:

For what went wrong with the U.S. diet that's still wrong see my web page:
http://www.prc68.com/I/DietNutrition.html
You'll find the answer to these two trivia questions:
1) Name two U.S. presidents that were killed by doctors.
2) What do these have in common: a can of beer, a can of sugar type soda pop, a glass of organic orange juice.
