YOU MIGHT TRY CONTACTING THE AMARG IN TUCSON ARIZONA.
THE OLDER P-3 ORIONS EACH HAD A MITE KSR AND ASSOCIATED MODEM.

That was back when they trusted the enlisted aircrew to operate the HF  
radios.
Nowadays one of the officers does all the communications.
