You could also search the internet using the term "rs232 to current" and it 
will bring back any number of converters and from 43 dollars on up.

K0tty also just had some boards he sold with a schematic to   those that 
want to build their own. He might have more bare boards or a schematic you 
could use to make one.
Let us know what you come up with.

I know in the past that there has been quite a few listings
for 20/60 ma loop to RS-232 converters on eBay (or else where?).

Did anyone keep any of the traffic that would contain the
"secret set of words" so I can find one?

I've found one so far, not too much info in the listing, and
it is going for $50.oo. Seems to me the last time there was
a listing the things were cheaper.
