[GreenKeys] MITE KSR value?

My hope is to pay it forward with all my equipment and move them to
deserving new homes as needed to keep the spirit of these machines alive
long after us TTY jocks are all gone. But what we need to do now is get
more guys interested that are much younger than our average age and help
them get over the hurdle of digging into one and getting it working again.

I applaud you Steve on your enthusiasm and determination to get your TT-100
working again and await your arrival for one of these 28ASRs.

Can't really give any good info on prices except to say the TT-100G I just
finished fixing was free to a good home because the person could not sell it
at any price.

As for being a Kleinschmidt guy? I can't say I am on that list of
knowledgeable people. I have never worked on one until now.

Of course me being the way I am I had to make sure it was working and did
put some money into it just in parts.

Probably would not get the money back out (money is not why I fixed it) but
it gives me a sense of satisfaction seeing it working again.

Mite's were supposed to be good machines but I don't know anyone today that
would spend a bunch of money on any mechanical machine except people in this
group. Maybe if more younger hams saw them hooked up and working they would
get hooked like we all did.

Can't speak to the Mite, but the TT-100s are somewhat rare and the ones with
any knowledge of them are few and far between. I guess it would have to
depend on condition. From 0 for a parts machine(the seller wants the space
back) to less than $100 for one in top notch shape (considering it is the
seller giving the condition). What say you other Kleinschmidt guys, Rice,
Duncan...?

Got an email asking the value of a MITE. Also a TT-100 Kleinschmidt.
Any suggestions?
