 From elsewhere on the web.
The New HAL RTTY-1 is an easy to use very accurate tuning indicator that
may be used with virtually any FSK radio modem. The RTTY-1 may be used
when receiving radio teleprinter (RTTY) signals as well as most common
data signals including: AMTOR, SITOR, P-MODE*, and Packet Radio. Similar
to the display of expensive crossed-ellipse oscilloscope tuning
indicators, the RTTY-1 provides a Mark and Space tuning display with
easy to read X-Y tuning bars. Whether in the field or the shack, the
versatile lightweight RTTY-1 can be used almost anywhere. Hook-up a DC
supply (10-18 VDC, 160 ma, filtered), connect your modem and receiver,
and you're ready to go. If you want to quickly tune RTTY signals "on the
nose", the RTTY-1 is it - YOU ASKED FOR IT.
