Ken,

Tempest or close to tempest This could explain why all the connectors are
MS types. I was not sure if Teletype had changed from the Molex type to MS
as a standard move. Guess not.

I've added comments to most of the pictures.

I hope to get to see a clean 37 that is also in Portland when I get back
in July. I can then do a lot of comparisons.

it maybe next week before I get to remove the corrugated box and see what
the rest of it looks like.

Hi all...

Congrats to Pete on the safe arrival of his M37...
Nice pics also...

Pete, I think the "Found" parts in the base may be the
keyboard assembly drive link t the main base...If I
remember, it was a little different than the 28 Kbd drive
systems...

All in all, not a bad looking machine...I am sure this unit
may have been originally a Gov't./Military version, as
the selector magnets are "Tempest" looking with complete
RF shielding etc. Also, I am sure it has a governed
LMU unit, which is further indicative of its' use being
overseas, perhaps either Diplomatic svc, Gov't., and/or
Military...Very interesting!

Good luck with the project Pete!

Cheers to all!
