I found an original chad bin for my model 33 -- but it is warped
and needs careful heating and straightening. I think a hair dryer
might suffice while propping the bent areas straight. Anyone
have experience with this?

If you look at a plexiglass color chart, the color seems to be
a bit lighter than 2465 yellow and a bit darker than 2146 ivory.
Unfortunately, these are translucent colors, and the chad bin is
transparent. 2208 yellow is too intense a color, and 2404 bronze
is too grey.

If we're talking about injection molding from melted pellets,
where there is a possibility of mixing the pellets of standard
colors to make blends, my guess is that a 50-50 mix of crystal
clear and 2208 yellow would do the job very well.

Incidentally, some of the small bits of plactic inside the
Model 33 are the same color. The plastic block at the end of
the keyboard that holds the contacts to read out the keycode
is the same shade of clear yellow, as is the plastic block
holding the paper-tape-reader contact springs.
