We currently use the "Beige Soft PLA" - for the hammer you would use the "Black Soft PLA" - It felt to me like 60-70 Shore A rubber.

I should be able to get an original part late next month - not sure what kind of shape it is in.  Then I can ask our eingineer about having a drawing made in SWorks.  If you can get your local friend to generate the drawing from an original part, that will save a lot of time (and likely money as I will have to pay my guy to do it).

I will be happy to test print the part if you can get the drawing, then we can share the STL with the members.  BTW, the Soft PLA works great in the Cubify.

I don't know where to find a 3D scanner, but 3D printers are generally available in lots of places.  We have several "makerspace" or "hackerspace" places that are free collaboration/learn/build spots that all have 3D printers (and even laser cutters) available for free use.  There is even one library here that has set up a "make" section with a printer.

So check your local area, and you might be able to use one near you.

I would be interested in an STL file of that hammer, if someone generates one.  Or, with an original drawing, I think there is a local fellow who could help me generate one.

Where do you source the rubber for the printer?
