I wonder if this was Hallicrafters "new" plant that they
heavily publicized. It had a corner fixed up to look like a
house. There is a web site covering Hallicrafters history
that has photos of this building as it was built and now. I
don't remember the URL but a google search should find it. I
think Hallicrafters had several plants in and around
Chicago.
