We started a graphics/imaging hardware company in 1978.
Here's our "lab" with Heath H-11.

First purchases were Heath H-11 and ADM-5 kits. Originally we had the Heath paper tape reader/punch, totally unreliable POS. We were so happy when the Heath 8" floppy drive was introduced. We hooked up a Q-Bus to UniBus converter so we could test interfaces for customer's 11/45's and Vaxen. . We couldn't afford a "big" PDP-11/34 until years later.

I still have the H-11 in the basement, running RT-11 off 8" floppies.
Cheers
Nick
