I spent my year in RVN (1967) maintaining TT-4As, -4Bs & -4Cs.

The most recent TM on the TT-4 I have seen is a change notice to TM 
11-5815-206-12, dated 13 Jan 1984. So the Army apparently used the TT-4 
for over 30 years!!
