Since it has a Boehme nameplate, it's clearly associated with machine-sent
Morse.  That's the business they were in.  The code wheel on the front
may not be original - it may have originally driven a Wheatstone tape
reader/keyer head.  I sent Duncan Brown my Boehme manuals - maybe he
can look in there and see if the motor drive looks like those.
