Subject: [GreenKeys] 6, 8, and 15 level tape photos on ebay

In the first set of two photos, the tall cabinet with the Teletype
to its left is an Alphanumeric Corp. "Alphanumeric Photocomposition System"
("APS") - possibly an APS-2, probably not an APS-3. It look as if it
might be built out of DEC equipment, but I don't know my DEC equipment
very well.

The DEC equipment in the photo from Ebay item 380804797518
is a PDP-8 computer (rackmount configuration) with a TC01
DECtape controller and dual TU55 DECtape drives. Compare
this with this photo of the system I'm working to restore:

The first rack is identical. The second rack is different -- I have an
analog-to-digital converter, where that rack has the DECtape
equipment. The rack itself, however, is the same -- and since DEC
didn't offer other colors, the color of the rack is the same.

My rack is missing the table. the DEC catalog has the dimensions
of the table, as seen from the top, but no construction details.
The man who was hired in 1966 to program the machine remembers
that there was an attached table, I'd love to get an underside view of
that table to see how it's built in the hopes of replicating it.
