Seth,

Remove it from the pedestal. Short job. Remove the chad box and then the rear pedestal cover. 2 screws and lift the cover out of the bottom slot.

In the pedestal you may find a TR power supply. Unplug the Molex and then the PS just slides off the front lip of the pedestal.

There are 4 screws holding the 33 to the pedestal. Standing at the rear of the 33, loosen the one closest to you and on the left about 1 turn. Then fully remove the other 3. Lifting slightly on the 33 rotate it about 45 degrees to the right so it is balanced on the pedestal. Then remove the first screw.

Dont lose the screws as they are hard to match up.

Reverse the process to put the 33 back on the pedestal. See attachment with reassembly info. You wont have the black markings described in the attachment.

Put the 33 on a drop cloth or rag on your back seat and buckle it in using the child restraint mode of the seat belt. Or put it in the trunk of the car and put some pads around it.

Always lift a 33 from the back when possible to avoid damaging the kybd or TR.

Subject: [GreenKeys] Moving an ASR33

Hello all,
This coming Tuesday, we're moving house. We have movers coming to do
he heavy lifting, but we've been packing and wrapping all of our
tuff ourselves.
The move is a very short distance, only about 5 miles. But I'm still
oncerned about making sure my ASR33 arrives un-broken.
Other than wrapping the dickens out of it and securing the plastic
hell against stress as best as I can, is there any particular
recaution I should take? I would move it myself, but I don't have a
ehicle tall enough to put it into standing upright (It's mounted onto
ts pedestal)
-Seth
