I might have a spare SMD card... but then again I gave so much to the
museums.

OK - this afternoon I finished Q-TIPing the Typing Unit
with alcohol to clean off all the gold/amber residue. It
looks in pretty good shape. The main shaft turns freely,
although 35s don't act like 15s or 28s when they don't
have a loop supply: only some functions operate, most
of the machine is sleeping.
Tomorrow I will set it on the base and turn the motor
by hand and see what it does. Then I'll try playing with
the selector magnets and see if I can get it to cycle.
Then, connect the machine to the loop and see what happens.
